Registration Process

  • Accuracy of Information: Candidates must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.

  • Verification: MD-AimStaffing reserves the right to verify the information provided by candidates and request additional documentation if needed.

Services Provided

  • Scope of Services: Detail the recruitment and staffing services MD-AimStaffing offers, including job placement, career counseling, and any other relevant services.

  • No Guarantee: State that while MD-AimStaffing will make reasonable efforts to find suitable employment opportunities, there is no guarantee of job placement.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Job Search: Candidates should actively participate in the job search process, including attending interviews and responding to communications from MD-AimStaffing.

  • Confidentiality: Candidates must maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary or confidential information shared during the recruitment process.

Data Protection and Privacy

  • Collection and Use of Data: Explain how personal data will be collected, used, and stored in compliance with applicable privacy laws (e.g., Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)).

  • Consent: Obtain consent from candidates to collect and use their personal information for recruitment purposes.

  • Data Security: Outline measures taken to protect candidates' personal data from unauthorized access or breaches.

WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) Coverage

  • Optional Coverage: WSIB coverage is optional for candidates. It is not automatically included as part of the registration process.

  • Opt-In Requirement: If candidates wish to opt into WSIB coverage, they must explicitly inform their recruiter and agree to WSIB deductions from their paychecks.

  • Default Status: Candidates who do not inform their recruiter of their desire to opt into WSIB coverage will automatically be considered as not having WSIB coverage. As such, they will not have WSIB premiums deducted from their pay and will not be eligible to claim WSIB benefits.

  • Acknowledgment: By opting into WSIB coverage, candidates acknowledge and agree to the deduction of WSIB premiums from their pay and understand that opting out means they are not covered by WSIB.

Handling of Mistaken Payments

  • Receipt of Incorrect Payments: If a candidate receives any payments that are mistakenly sent to them by MD-AimStaffing or any third party, the candidate is responsible for promptly notifying MD-AimStaffing and returning the incorrect payment.

  • Return of Funds: The candidate must return any mistakenly received funds to MD-AimStaffing within a reasonable timeframe as specified in the notification.

  • Legal Notice and Actions: Failure to return mistakenly received payments after notification may result in MD-AimStaffing initiating legal action to recover the funds. The candidate will be held responsible for any costs or damages resulting from their failure to return the payments.

Non-Discrimination

  • Equal Opportunity: Affirm MD-AimStaffing’s commitment to providing equal employment opportunities and not discriminating based on race, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Liability and Disclaimers

  • No Liability: Limit MD-AimStaffing's liability for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of its services or the inability to find suitable employment.

  • Third-Party Employers: Clarify that MD-AimStaffing is not responsible for the actions of third-party employers where candidates are placed.

Termination

  • Termination by Candidate: Candidates can terminate their registration at any time by notifying MD-AimStaffing in writing.

  • Termination by MD-AimStaffing: MD-AimStaffing reserves the right to terminate a candidate's registration for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of terms or inactivity.

Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: Specify that the terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

  • Dispute Resolution Process: Outline the process for resolving disputes, which may include mediation or arbitration before resorting to litigation.

Amendments

  • Changes to Terms: MD-AimStaffing may update these terms and conditions at any time. Candidates will be notified of significant changes and will need to accept the revised terms to continue using the services.
